You are bidding on a Judson Supercharged, 3 Owner, complete frame off restoration of a 1953 MGTD in Primrose yellow over Red Leather interior. This is a good original, low mileage, well documented and highly optioned TD that is ready to be shown or driven. This particular TD is in good overall condition as can be seen by the photos. It is not a fresh restoration, but an older restoration of an original car that has been driven, maintained and even upgraded along the way. It has all of the period accessories to include the Judson Supercharger, Original Lucas Driving Lights (not reproductions), Octagon Luggage Rack, Badge Bar, Heater and Stone Guards for the headlights. The exterior of the car (paint, chrome and glass) are all in good condition. The Paint itself is driver quality having a nice period patina. The car has been a local South Carolina car its entire life and therefore shows no signs of rust of any kind. Comes as well with all of the requisite weather equipment (black convertible top, side curtains and black tonneau cover). All are in “as new” condition with no rips or tears in the vinyl and the soft top windows and side curtains are still clear and presentable (see photos). The interior of the car (seats, cockpit, carpet, door panels and dash) are also in very good condition with everything having been replaced at the time of the restoration. The leather seats themselves show little to no wear and contribute as well to a very nice overall interior patina. Mechanically the car runs and drives as well as any new TD of the day should. Of course it runs stronger than any new TD did, with the addition of the Judson Supercharger by the Original owner. It starts easily, idles great and runs strong with the Clutch, Transmission and Brakes all working exactly as they should. So you can be confident knowing that it is ready for the road. All 5 painted steel wheels and factory hub caps are in good condition while riding on almost new Michelin size 165-15 tube type radials. In fact I still have one additional new tire that was purchased as a spare which I will include. Included as well are the complete set of the factory original tools (see photo), a car cover, factory hand crank, workshop manual, Judson documentation and miscellaneous MG catalogues.
