Vehicle Detail

1967 Ford Galaxie 2 Door Hardtop Survivor!! Original Paint 2nd Owner! Below is a list of the equipment on the car: 390 V8 Dual Exhaust Automatic Transmission Power Steering Original AM Radio (That works!). Vintage American Racing Wheel 15'' Aluminium Slot mags. 2nd owner. This car was owned by the same family since it was new until I bought it. It has 110,000 original miles on it. It comes with the original owners manual, warranty protection card and some paper work/receipts from the original owners. It was sold new 2-16-67 at Stan Barrett Ford in Longmont, CO. The last owners were the son in law and daughter of the original owners. They were given the car in 1981. It was rarely driven and always garaged. I have a copy of the CO pink slip showing the original owners name and it being transferred to their children who I bought it from. It has been in Arizona just over 20 years. It runs well and is all original except the auxiliary electric fan (no cutting or modifying were done when it was added and it can be easily removed) that was added when it came to AZ and the vintage American Racing Aluminium Slot mags that were added in 1981. My intention was to restore it but I have other projects and would rather it go to someone that will take it to the next level. I have done some work to it to make it a nice driver. The original transmission and torque converter was rebuilt just over 3000 miles ago (have receipt that comes with the car) The front wheel cylinders, brake shoes and master cylinder were all redone within the last 100 miles (have receipt for that too). The engine runs really well with new plugs, wires, points cap and rotor in the last 1000 or so miles. All of the lights, horn, heater, blower motor, wipers speedometer/gauges work as they should. Condition wise the car has most if not all its original paint (appears to be all or almost all factory applied) that shines but, is thin on the hood and trunk, passenger rear quarter, The car is very straight it has two very soft dents on the front passenger fender and very small dents on the same fender top, they have to be pointed out to be noticed. The only rust I have ever found on the car is at the bottom of the rear quarter behind the the rear wheel well on the passenger side. Its very small (see picture) I have resisted fixing it (would be VERY easy) since since it appears to all be original paint. The frame and floors, fenders, wheel wells, trunk, under hood are all super clean and rust free with factory paint still on underside of the floors. The chrome bumpers and stainless trim are in nice shape and free of pitting. The interior has some cracks in the dash and the front seat has tears and is not in the best shape, the top of the back seat is coming apart and package tray are not in great shape either. But, its all original. The door panels are in pretty good shape. The headliner is missing two panels of fabric that came loose. All of the glass is in nice condition. In the trunk is the window trim for the outside of the rear window along with a new rear window gasket and the rear view mirror (I was going to get a new reproduction mirror) that needs to be put back on the windshield. There are also some trim clips and the original lug nuts. The trim on the drivers front fender and trunk each has a small dent. The doors and windows operate freely including the trunk lid. I have a brand new set of factory style (15 x 7 front and 15 x 8 rear) steel wheels from Wheel Vintiques that are painted the correct Wimbledon white with brand new chrome lug nuts. If someone is interested in the wheels I will sell them separately. The car is very original. It runs and drives well. Its been driven all over the Phoenix area on surface streets and the highway. It steers straight and is a good driver quality car. It has a current title and registration. Buyer to contact seller at close of auction. Full payment is due by wire transfer, cashiers check or cash within 5 days of end of auction. Title and related documents will be sent once the check has cleared seller’s bank. Sorry no personal checks or PayPal. Buyer has 10 days to have vehicle picked up. Buyer pays any and all shipping costs. Seller can help arrange shipping. IMPORTANT!
