It has 32,450 ORIGINAL miles. She is dressed with the Buick aluminum wheels, and equipped with the V08 trailering package (includes factory heavy duty cooling, heavy duty suspension, limited slip differential, mechanical fan, and rear self leveling air shocks, also known as the Gran Touring Suspension). It has dual power seats, dual vanity mirrors, automatic climate control, automatic dimming rear view mirror, twilight sentinel (automatic headlamps), power windows, power locks (with automatic lock/unlock feature), power mirrors, power antenna, intermittent wipers, rear wiper, rear defrost, limited slip differential, cruise control, tilt wheel, lumbar seats, and AM/FM Cassette player. Overall the car is in very good condition. The title is clear and has no liens. The title also documents the original mileage. This is an extremely comfortable car, and the last year of the traditional rear wheel drive Buick…with the powerful and economical LT-1 5.7 liter engine. It is rated somewhere around 25 MPG on the highway. The car runs and drives beautifully and I’m sure it would go across country effortlessly. Exterior: The paint is a beautiful jet black. The paint is very nice, and appears to be mostly original. The chrome and the stainless steel also shine brilliantly. The aluminum wheels are perfect, without curb rash or oxidation. The exterior is overall very nice and is obvious of the care it has received. There are some minor stone chips, scrapes and dings here and there, but nothing that stands out. As noted in the pictures, there are a few areas where the wood trim has flaked off. (Note there is a company that restores these wood trim pieces and sells them on ebay). The undercarriage has minor "surface scale", but no heavy rust. There is no rust under the tailgate nor is there any under the doors. The car was rust proofed when new. Again, the car is in very good shape, and is ready for the local cruise in, or for towing your camper! Interior: The interior is also in great shape, with the luxurious “Limited” style leather seats. The seats are very comfortable and supportive. It was obviously NEVER smoked in. Cigarette lighters were never used. There are no rips, stains or holes. The tan carpet is also like new, and include the factory floor mats. Even the third seat looks like it was never sat in, because the plastic still covers the carpeted area of the floor! The headliner does not sag. The dash has no cracks, but does have some minor discoloration from the sun, upon close inspection. Arm rests are like new….no wear, stains, etc. Even the stitching in the seats is like brand new. The power equipment goodies all work, even the power antenna! Also, the cruise, power windows, locks, A/C, radio, etc. all work well. Mechanical: The motor purrs like a kitten and is extremely smooth. I’ve never seen any leaks underneath the car. As mentioned earlier, the motor is the LT-1 5.7 engine (same engine was used in the Camaro and Corvette) which is both economical and reliable. The transmission shifts smooth and the previous owner told me the transmission fluid was changed and tires recently replaced (all 4 match too). It passed the PA safety inspection with flying colors and is valid through December 2014. My mechanic also inspected the fluids, hoses, and belts and said they look fine. The A/C was recently serviced and blows good cold air. The oil and filter was recently changed. The car tracks straight, steering is tight, and brakes stop straight. The dual exhaust system appears to be the original system and has a very quiet purr. The only “negative” is that the belt squeaks on a cold start, but after the engine warms up it goes away. This baby runs beautifully and is ready for show! Overall: If you are looking for a great example of the last of the traditional full size Buick, this one’s for you. The car is gorgeous and gets lots of compliments. I have yet to see another Buick just like it. I’ve sold numerous cars on eBay and in all situations I had positive feedback. I attempt to describe each vehicle as accurately and honestly as possible and I do not think you will be disappointed. As with anything, if you desire to bid on the vehicle, I would encourage you to see it physically and drive it for yourself before you bid. I would not be afraid to drive this car across the country. It runs and drives excellent and will make a very nice classic for you. If you get the winning bid and are not completely satisfied upon your physical inspection, you can walk away from the vehicle, less $100 of your deposit (to pay for the cost of having to relist on eBay). 1996 Buick Roadmaster Limited Estate Wagon / Very Nice Condition / 32k miles / V08 Trailering Package / Third Row Seating
You are viewing a gorgeous 1996 Buick Roadmaster Limited Estate Wagon. It has 32,450 ORIGINAL miles. She is dressed with the Buick aluminum wheels, and equipped with the V08 trailering package (includes factory heavy duty cooling, heavy duty suspension, limited slip differential, mechanical fan, and rear self leveling air shocks, also known as the Gran Touring Suspension). It has dual power seats, dual vanity mirrors, automatic climate control, automatic dimming rear view mirror, twilight sentinel (automatic headlamps), power windows, power locks (with automatic lock/unlock feature), power mirrors, power antenna, intermittent wipers, rear wiper, rear defrost, limited slip differential, cruise control, tilt wheel, lumbar seats, and AM/FM Cassette player. Overall the car is in very good condition. The title is clear and has no liens. The title also documents the original mileage. This is an extremely comfortable car, and the last year of the traditional rear wheel drive Buick…with the powerful and economical LT-1 5.7 liter engine. It is rated somewhere around 25 MPG on the highway. The car runs and drives beautifully and I’m sure it would go across country effortlessly.
Exterior:
The paint is a beautiful jet black. The paint is very nice, and appears to be mostly original. The chrome and the stainless steel also shine brilliantly. The aluminum wheels are perfect, without curb rash or oxidation. The exterior is overall very nice and is obvious of the care it has received. There are some minor stone chips, scrapes and dings here and there, but nothing that stands out. As noted in the pictures, there are a few areas where the wood trim has flaked off. (Note there is a company that restores these wood trim pieces and sells them on ebay). The undercarriage has minor "surface scale", but no heavy rust. There is no rust under the tailgate nor is there any under the doors. The car was rust proofed when new. Again, the car is in very good shape, and is ready for the local cruise in, or for towing your camper!
Interior:
The interior is also in great shape, with the luxurious “Limited” style leather seats. The seats are very comfortable and supportive. It was obviously NEVER smoked in. Cigarette lighters were never used. There are no rips, stains or holes. The tan carpet is also like new, and include the factory floor mats. Even the third seat looks like it was never sat in, because the plastic still covers the carpeted area of the floor! The headliner does not sag. The dash has no cracks, but does have some minor discoloration from the sun, upon close inspection. Arm rests are like new….no wear, stains, etc. Even the stitching in the seats is like brand new. The power equipment goodies all work, even the power antenna! Also, the cruise, power windows, locks, A/C, radio, etc. all work well.
Mechanical:
The motor purrs like a kitten and is extremely smooth. I’ve never seen any leaks underneath the car. As mentioned earlier, the motor is the LT-1 5.7 engine (same engine was used in the Camaro and Corvette) which is both economical and reliable. The transmission shifts smooth and the previous owner told me the transmission fluid was changed and tires recently replaced (all 4 match too). It passed the PA safety inspection with flying colors and is valid through December 2014. My mechanic also inspected the fluids, hoses, and belts and said they look fine. The A/C was recently serviced and blows good cold air. The oil and filter was recently changed. The car tracks straight, steering is tight, and brakes stop straight. The dual exhaust system appears to be the original system and has a very quiet purr. The only “negative” is that the belt squeaks on a cold start, but after the engine warms up it goes away. This baby runs beautifully and is ready for show!
Overall:
If you are looking for a great example of the last of the traditional full size Buick, this one’s for you. The car is gorgeous and gets lots of compliments. I have yet to see another Buick just like it. I’ve sold numerous cars on eBay and in all situations I had positive feedback. I attempt to describe each vehicle as accurately and honestly as possible and I do not think you will be disappointed. As with anything, if you desire to bid on the vehicle, I would encourage you to see it physically and drive it for yourself before you bid. I would not be afraid to drive this car across the country. It runs and drives excellent and will make a very nice classic for you.
