Vehicle Detail

This Miata is different from most Miatas in that it has fewer than 33K miles. Bought it as part of an estate sale, Elderly Mother bought it in the twilight of her life, drove it less each year and finally parked in the garage for the last time. Daughter (a Realtor) inherited car/house...sold car to me. Moral of that anecdote: don't put off the fun stuff (think convertibles) in life till too late. So I bought it w/22k miles or so on it, maintained it very well, and now as I am traveling extensively, need more cargo space. So I bought a bigger car and the Miata is surplus. A very beautiful surplus. It is in excellent condition with pw/pdl/ps/p-antenna/p-brakes/heated rear window/A-C/cd/amfm/etc and they all work well including the two keyfobs that unlock-lock, pop the trunk, turn-on the panic-screamer and so on. Also has the original owners manual. As you would expect from a 32K Miata, the paint is excellent and well waxed (I use Turtle paste wax), a very smooth body mercifully free of door dings (I park at the far side of most parking lots, or on the end). There are no rips/tears in the interior, no holes or cuts in the top...remember it only has 32K miles. if you go out to ebay and search Miatas, sort them by milage, highest first...you will note an astonishing number of Miatas over 150K that are still working well and passing emissions. So this one is still 30K away from the factory recommended timing-belt change at 60K, It has lived about a fifth of its life. It is an Automatic transmission with 4th gear being an overdrive. Think of all the Miatas out there that have had their guts revved out by go-fast folk who shift late....but not this one. and yes, all glass has the light (factory) tint. the rear window is Glass, not the less useful plastic seen on cheap replacement tops. w/rear-window demister. I drove it from Denver to Miami on the original factory Bridgestone tires, 3 months ago I replaced those with wide/sticky Sumimotos and the difference in ride comfort and cornering was a delightful surprise. It also has a new battery from 5 months ago, all new filters and wipers and all new fluids from engine to differential and I made sure that all were drained while hot. Got great MPG at a steady 75 in cruise on the 1800 miles to Miami. you are buying the miles, the condition, the receipts and the way it looks. I will work with your shipper to get the car loaded OR meet you at Ft. Lauderdale or Miami airport with a full tank and point you in the right direction. NOTE: per the two drips of tree sap: came out one morning, found two 1-inch drips of a gummy substance on the top. Plucked off most of it, but left the rest in place and drove another 800 miles. Have tried windex and terrycloth, rubbing gently, it just got shiny, then tried soft-toothbrush and Crest Pro-health, it just got shiny....and now my morning brushing of teeth tastes like crap. see the last picture...maybe you know a better way. NOTE2: OK guys, I have dropped the price enough to cover a substantial portion of the shipping or drive home. The rest is up to you. There are four 2003 Miatas out there and I noticed that mine has the least miles and lowest price....its your move...
