This 1976 gl1000 gold wing has been restored from the frame up with better than factory quality paint. The engine has been restored like factory new with new ring's and bearing's just because I was in there but it wasn't needed. The engine cases were resprayed like factory and detailed very nice.. There are many new part's that are no longer available from Honda on this motorcycle such as new exhaust, (try finding that part) wire harness,seat and many other small part's. I was working as the head tech at a Honda dealer for year's and that's where I got a lot of part's during this resto. Look at the pic's and you decide, The bike is ready to go anywhere you want to go and has 180 mile's on it since restoration. First let me say that everything on this bike is new or look's almost new. Here are part's I remember buying new= exhaust system,seat,fuel tank,wire harness, all new engine seal's and gasket's,new emblem's new engine ring's and bearing's, all new carburetor brass and gasket's,Tire's and tube's,brake's f&r ,hand grip's,Throttle cable's, clutch cable,both hand lever's,fuel pump and oem fuel line's, point's and condenser, rear brake line,mirror's , battery,fuel petcock rebuild, I'm sure there's more but I can't remember. Like I said In the other description I left the panel's with original paint because they look so good and the bike come's with a new decal and pin stripe set if you want to touch up a few chip's or do a complete repaint. Also the gauge's are original except for the speedo being reset from 23,000 to 0 after the resto.
