I am offering this stunning and gorgeous early 1973 Mercedes 450 SL masterpiece that was originally sold in California and remained there with the first owner for nearly 38 years. This car has always been stored in a garage and is in great running and driving condition. Car has only 50,100 miles and is completely stock and original. The very rare and beautiful metallic red paint is spectacular and in pristine condition. The original owner stated that this is the original paint code number 571. The doors, trunk and hood all close perfectly and the body shows no sun damage. All numbers match and this vehicle has never been damaged. The factory air recently serviced runs cold and power windows perform properly. The hardtop and convertible top are both original and in great shape. The backseat with seat belts is an option that I purchased and had installed for my grandchildren. The dash has a minor crack near the windshield (see picture) and the driver floor mat has wear, other than that this car is a pleasure to drive and certainly draws attention.
