1970 Honda CL

This is a Honda CL 100 which weighs 206 pounds. It runs without issue. I believe it is 100% original including the tires.... maybe the battery is not original. It comes with a battery tender. This bike was stored in a bedroom for the entirety of its' life... except from 1970-1972. I have put 7 miles on it and felt guilty about doing that. It should be owned by a Honda Shop for display or a Honda Collector for show. It is 2 days of cleaning away from being "Autorama" ready for show. The oil is as clear as water. The tank was lined in 1971 and the gas was always drained. It starts first kick without the choke. I purchased this from an old man who put it away to spite his kids. He felt they were mistreating it. They bent the clutch lever, cracked the plastic headlamp bowl and bent the front turn indicators. Being a retired Collision Repairman, I will fix the headlamp and the indicators for $200 additional. You will never know they were repaired. Note the original can of lacquer -- still good. I think the turn signals might not blink -- don't know if they are supposed to or not. Crankcase covers are scratched from use. Easy refinish. I hesitate to even wash this bike least I do something to hurt its' show-value quality. The reserve is what 2 dealers offered me, and they would pay for delivery. If you drive a distance to pick it up you can stay overnight at my B&B ....48028. No charge. $500 due at time of winning bid. Balance in cash preferred when you pick it up. THE PAINT IS NOT BROKEN AND IT PROBABLY COULD BE REMOVED WITH A PAINTLESS DENT PROCEDURE. IF NOT, PLEASE REMEMBER THAT A CAN OF ORIGINAL JAPANESE LACQUER IS INCLUDED IN THE ORIGINAL COLOR. IF YOU CHOOSE TO HAVE ME FIX THE HEADLIGHT BOWL, I COULD ALSO REPAIR THAT TANK FOR A NOMINAL AMOUNT. THE REPAIR WOULD BE FLAWLESS AND THE ORIGINAL CLEAR LACQUER WOULD BE REPLACED BY URETHANE WHICH IS SUPERIOR IN SHINE AND DURABILITY, I JUST WANT TO BE SURE THE BIDDERS ARE GETTING EXACTLY WHAT THEY BARGAIN FOR. IN CASE YOU DIDN'T NOTICE THE QUESTIONS I ANSWERED PLEASE NOTE ALSO THAT THE TURN SIGNALS WORK JUST FINE. I WAS HITTING THE WRONG SWITCH.... THE HEADLAMP SWITCH. THE LITTLE BLUE HIGH-BEAM LIGHT ALSO WORKS WHICH IS HOW I DISCOVERED IT.
