Relisting this with new info! Here is a chance to own a rare vehicle! This 1961 Econoline was special ordered by the University of Iowa and was built in December of 1960. It is in running and driving condition with a clean title! Lots of work done already-carb has been rebuilt, has a new exhaust manifold due to original being cracked, valve cover gasket and head gasket replaced due to exhaust manifold bolts breaking off and head having to be removed to get them out(cylinders and pistons look great!), valve cover cleaned up and clear coated, brakes gone through and working great, battery cables replaced, new alternator, brand new tires on refreshed 14 inch Torque Thrust ET wheels, and all lights working. Original wheels are included. Rebuilt generator (not on vehicle) and new voltage regulator. This is a very fun vehicle to drive! It is a manual transmission with 3 on the tree and shifts very nicely. It has some rust, but most is very easily repairable. All doors are very solid and NOT rusted on the bottoms. The van can be viewed at any time. Gas gauge is now working. Speedometer, temperature gauge, turn signals, windshield wipers, and heater all work! Van is still being driven so mileage will go up! I am also still working on it. Driveshaft U joints, drag link, and tie rod ends have now been replaced. I also have a new front windshield seal that goes with it. Windshield is in great shape, but the seal is not. I have had A LOT of questions about the rust on this van. It is very solid except what is shown in the pictures! The 2 body supports behind the front wheels are the only badly rusted parts on the undercarriage. The rear roll pan has now been repaired. DOORS ARE SOLID!!! Step area inside doors are also very solid-passenger side does have a rust hole shown in pic.
