Same owner from 1969 to 2014. He purchased the car in the Phoenix area and used it as his daily driver for one year. In 1970 he rebuilt the engine and painted the car Washington blue. The engine only had one hour run time before he parked it in his garage, never to come out again until I purchased the vehicle. We had the radiator re-cored, flushed the fuel tank, and completely rebuilt the brake system. This car runs and drives great. The tires are still from the 60's but are in great shape and not dry rotted. The body is very solid with the only rust repairs that I can see are a very minor spot in the lower rear fenders(front part) and rust in the rear panel. Floors are original and rock solid. There is some surface rust behind the rear seat but the metal is not thin or weak in any way. It could be removed with sandpaper. The quarters are very nice from the inside with no evidence of repairs and still retain the original undercoating from the factory. All of the windows work flawlessly. The rear window tray has some rust holes as they all tend to do (bad design) The black tuck and roll interior is from 1970 and still in good shape. The headliner and canvas top insert are original. All of the lights work as do all of the gauges except for the original temperature gauge. The SW temperature was added at some point in the 60's and works great. The windshield wipers work also. The radio is there but missing the speaker part. The bumpers and grille chrome are in nice shape. The chrome grille is a custom piece from the era. Excellent patina car as-is or perfect candidate for a top level restoration or custom build. Comes with the title from 1969 for historical purposes as well as a new 2014 AZ title. These cars are very hard to find in this outstanding original and unmolested condition. The radio is there but missing the speaker part. The bumpers and grille chrome are in nice shape. The chrome grille is a custom piece from the era. Excellent patina car as-is or perfect candidate for a top level restoration or custom build. Comes with the title from 1969 for historical purposes as well as a new 2014 AZ title. These cars are very hard to find in this outstanding original and unmolested condition.
