For sale - 1952 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup TruckVIN 3KP115023216 cu. in. 6 cylinder engine, 3 speed on column shiftLess than 64,000 original milesCorrosion-free body, always garagedClear, Missouri title This was my grandfather’s truck. My dad had it for about 20 years and I have had it since. I named her Nona, after my grandmother. The livestock stake sides were on the truck from the very beginning. The corner fasteners for the sides appear to be forged, or welded. They may have been a fabricated accessory common to the farming community that the dealer served. The tires, front brakes and hubcaps have been the only things that I have added/replaced. I still have the original hubcaps. The new, chromed hub caps were a Christmas present some time ago. The tires have very little wear. I only took her out for a spin a few times a year. They are tubeless radials mounted on the original rims. Two of those have slow leaks, probably because of the old rims. My dad added the 6 volt signal flasher after he got it. It works, but I still prefer hand signals and I tend to forget to turn the signal off after use. My son got me the fuzzy dice and I will keep those for sentiment’s sake. My mom added the shag carpet over the floor. But the floorboards are sound all the way across. The interior is original. The driver side of the bench seat is rough. The headliner is in decent shape. The engine runs strong, the clutch is good, newer 6 volt battery under the floorboard. I will include the 6 volt Battery Tender that I have used for extended storage. She does leak a little when sitting. So I keep a tarp under her in the garage. The paint is original, great patina for her age. The passenger side window has a crack. All other glass is good. This is not a 5 window model. The condition of the truck bed wood is questionable. My dad fastened plywood sheets over the original planks. Very little body damage. my grandfather clipped, scraped or slightly dented each fender getting it in and out of his garage. There is a push dent in the middle of the grill area, probably nosed into the garage too hard one time. There is a crease in the front passenger quarter panel that runs across the fresh air side intake vent. There is no visible corrosion perforation damage. That is a testament to heavy gauge steel used at the time and the covered storage.
