This literally turns heads everywhere I go! I have an additional 60+ pictures; I'd also be happy to email it if you'd like. I'd also by happy take any additional pictures you request. I plan on taking a couple videos too. So here's the story: Much to the dismay of my wife, I literally scour the internet daily to find unmolested rust free West Coast Land Cruisers; diamonds in the rough. A few weeks ago I found an advertisement in San Diego that looked promising. After speaking at length with the owner I knew this truck showed a lot of promise. I made an agreement with him and booked my flight. Two weeks later, I flew to San Diego. I met the owner, a high school teacher, at his home where the truck was kept garaged. He explained that he had just had a lot of work done to make sure it passed CA smog. He had owned it for a number of years and just didn't drive it enough. It was obvious that he really cared for the truck and made sure that all the maintenance was always done. It’s never been abused… THIS TRUCK WAS RECENTLY SMOGGED AND PASSED THE RIGOROUS CALIFORNIA INSPECTION. Knowing the reliability of these trucks, without even a test drive, I gave him the cash and jumped in the truck. He handed me the title and a folder full of receipts… This truck has no problem doing 65+ mph on the freeway. It drives straight and true with no issues whatsoever. It’s remarkable that there are no annoying squeaks or noises. This is truly a joy to drive! I truly would not hesitate to drive this truck anywhere! The first thing I do with all my Land Cruiser purchases, whether or not they run great, is bring them to a mechanic to have them gone completely through. I basically told the mechanic at Land Cruiser NW (a local Land Cruiser specialized mechanic) to fix everything necessary to ensure there are no issues. I just want the piece of mind that I’m delivering something without mechanical problems. The following was completed within the last 200 miles: Complete Tune up (plugs, wires, distributor, timing, fuel filter, etc.)Rebuild carburator Oil change New 31" tires Complete detail The following was completed within the last 1,000 miles by the previous owner: New smog pump New catalytic converter Its now my daily driver and I have never had an issue. It fires up the first time every time and runs great. I smile every time it fires up. I just think about what an amazing testament to the quality of these trucks are when I fire up this 30 year old truck effortlessly. If you know about these trucks, and have seen others, you know what an EXTREMELY RARE find this one is. It is nearly impossible to find a 100% ORIGINAL FJ60. If you don’t know of the FJ60’s reliability and versatility, do your homework. I challenge you to find any negative comments on any website. In my opinion, these are the best SUV’s ever made. This is a proven truck with years of reliability. This truck has VERY LOW MILES for the year. This truck has always been a west coast vehicle. It has a CLEAN TITLE. It has a CLEAN CarFax and has NO ACCIDENTS or BODY RUST (only very minor surface rust on the frame, which is to be expected for a 30 year old truck). This is a truck that can literally last a lifetime and be passed from generation to generation. These trucks are only increasing in value and are widely popular across all generations and demographics. I've sold them in the past to ranchers, commercial pilots, CEO's of investment firms, conspiracy theorists, hipsters and fathers who just wanted family to be safe vehicle. Imperfections on the interior are very hard to find. There are no stains or smells; no pet hair; no tears or fading upholstery. The interior is a 9 out of 10. Keep in mind this is a 30 year old truck and it is not perfect. However, it is in excellent condition overall. The exterior shines and has only very small imperfections. The previous owner had the truck repainted the original "root beer" brown within the last five years. The exterior is a 9 out of 10. Again, keep in mind this is a 31 year old truck and it is not perfect, but it is in remarkable condition for its age. Mechanically this truck is in fantastic condition. The engine runs very strong with NO SMOKING or KNOCKS. The transmission shifts flawlessly. The 4WD shifts effortlessly and works amazing. Tires are at about 99% tread. The AC light comes on and engine adjusts idle accordingly, however, the air temperature doesn't reduce; I'm assuming it either has a leak in the system or just needs a recharge. The radio is the original and doesn't work great, but I love the original look. I have not noticed any, but I'm assuming there are very small engine leaks, as anything of this age would have, but nothing major. The only item that is not factory original is the side view mirrors; however, they are true to period. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions. Bid with confidence in this NO RESERVE AUCTION. I am not opposed to closing the auction early with an acceptable offer. The only items I've sold on eBay have been cars and trucks; and my feedback continues to be 100% positive. My hobby of restoring FJ60’s & 62's has become a double edged sword. This is my 11th restoration. I love bringing them to meticulous original condition, but doing so, even this very small volume in the last year has forced my to acquire my dealers license. Rest assured, I primarily restore Land Cruisers and know what I’m doing; I’m a perfectionist and take pride in my projects. I’m not your typical used car dealer; I have a regular full time job and am honest to a fault. I only acquired my license to ensure I follow state guidelines (In Oregon if you sell more than one car per year you are required to get a license). With that said, I’m required to show the following information: National Auto Dealer Service LLC, PO Box, 3252 Clackamas, OR 97015, Oregon Dealer #3918, Licensed, Bonded, Insured.
