This car was purchased and shipped from Las Vegas Nevada. The body and the interior are in great condition. The paint job is quite nice though there are a couple of small chips and spots where the clear coat had sagged and needs to be buffed out. The passenger compartment carpet is like new and the seats have been re-uphulstered. I have not found any rust on the car. The typical places where this model SAAB rusts out; the rocker panels, the wheel arches, the floor boards and the trunk are very clean. The heads for the engine have been rebuilt with a new upper head gasket set that was purchased from Northern Power Products out of Eagle, MN. Some pictures that were taken during the rebuild are included which show that the valves are in excellent condition as are the pistons and the cylinders. The water pump was also replaced and the battery is new. The original single barrel carb was replaced with a two barrel carb and intake manifold. The car comes with the original single barrel carb/intake if there is a desire to put it back on. The car originally had SAAB factory air conditioning. The main parts (the compressor and condenser) for the air conditioning are not currently installed, but do come with the purchase. The car also has dual exhaust all the way to the back. The tires are like new and old at the same time, in that they were purchased new but never used to any great extent. As a result, the tread is like new, but there is evidence of cracks on the side walls. Over all the car is in very nice condition. Please review the photos and send questions.
