It has 50,300 ORIGINAL miles and is DOCUMENTED as such on the title. No doubt this has been garage kept and well cared for since new. I purchased the car from the second owner last month. Included are the original owner's manuals, including the plastic packet for the wheel lock/key. She is dressed with the genuine Buick spoked wheel discs, padded vinyl top, with contrasting factory pinstripe. The Buick is equipped with automatic climate control, power drivers seat, air conditioning, power windows, power locks, power antenna, intermittent wipers, automatic trunk release, cruise control, tufted cloth/velvet interior (same seats/interior as the Electra & Park Avenue), and vinyl padded top. Overall the car is immaculate. The title is clear and has no liens. This is an extremely comfortable car, and the last year of the traditional rear wheel drive Buick…with the tried-and-true reliable (and economical) 5.0 liter engine. The car runs and drives beautifully and I’m sure it would go across country effortlessly. Exterior: The original paint is a beautiful metallic blue with contrasting navy blue vinyl padded top. The condition of the paint is almost like brand new…no fading, checking, or alligatoring. This is surprising considering how many problems GM had with their paint in the 80’s. The chrome and the stainless steel also shine brilliantly. The vinyl top is also in great shape. The spoked wheel discs are original to the car and have no curb rash to speak of. The exterior is overall in excellent shape and is obvious of the care it has received. There are a few minor scratches here and there but nothing that stands out. There are a few small dings on the doors which paintless dent removal could probably resolve if you want it perfect. The rear bumper also has a small blemish on the lower left hand side which does not stand out unless seen up close. Again, the car is in amazingly nice shape, and is ready for show. Even all 4 headlights are original! The underbody is very solid with no significant rust...only surface "scale" as typical with any car (even new ones) that have seen rain. It was rust proofed when new, and yet probably never needed, considering that it probably never saw snow. Interior: The interior is stunning, including the navy blue velvet tufted seats (same as the Park Avenue model) which feel, look, and smell brand new.….and there are NO air fresheners needed in this car! The seats are soft, much like a living room sofa. It was obviously NEVER smoked in. Cigarette lighters were never used. There are no rips, stains or holes. The navy blue carpets are also like new (and very soft/plush), and include all four matching factory floor mats. The headliner does not sag. The dash is beautiful. Arm rests are like new….no wear, stains, etc. Even the stitching in the seats is like brand new. Unlike many Buicks from this era, the faux wood door panels are like new and not faded at all. The power equipment goodies all work, except the cruise control apparently has a loose wire somewhere….one time it worked last week but has not worked since. Amazingly, the power antenna still works. Also, power windows, seats, locks, A/C, radio, etc. all work well. Mechanical: The motor purrs like a kitten and is extremely smooth. As mentioned earlier, the motor is the 5.0 engine which was both economical and reliable. The oil has just been changed along with a new filter. The transmission shifts smooth and effortlessly and has just been serviced (fluid flushed and changed with new filter) . It passed the PA safety inspection with flying colors and is valid through August of next year, 2015. My mechanic also inspected the other fluids, hoses, and belts and said they look fine. The A/C compressor appears to have been replaced at one point, and retained the original factory type R12 freon. It still blows cold air, and the automatic climate control works like a charm. I have a few service records from the last couple years. The Michelin tires were recently replaced and all 4 match. Same with the battery. The spare does not appear to have ever left the trunk. The car tracks straight, steering is tight, and brakes stop straight. I am not aware of any leaks underneath the car. I have driven the car several hundred miles without any issue, and wouldn't be afraid to drive anywhere. This baby runs beautifully and is ready for show! Overall: If you are looking for a great example of the last of the traditional full size Buick, this one’s for you. The car is gorgeous and gets lots of compliments. I have yet to see another Buick just like it. I’ve sold numerous cars on eBay and in all situations I had positive feedback. I attempt to describe each vehicle as accurately and honestly as possible and I do not think you will be disappointed. As with anything, if you desire to bid on the vehicle, I would encourage you to see it physically and drive it for yourself before you bid. I would not be afraid to drive this car across the country. It runs and drives excellent and will make a very nice classic for you. If you get the winning bid and are not completely satisfied upon your physical inspection, you can walk away from the vehicle, less $100 of your deposit (to pay for the cost of having to relist on eBay). 1985 Buick LeSabre Limited Collectors Edition / Excellent Original Condition / 50k documented miles
You are viewing a gorgeous 1985 Buick LeSabre Limited Collectors Edition coupe. It has 50,300 ORIGINAL miles and is DOCUMENTED as such on the title. No doubt this has been garage kept and well cared for since new. I purchased the car from the second owner last month. Included are the original owner's manuals, including the plastic packet for the wheel lock/key. She is dressed with the genuine Buick spoked wheel discs, padded vinyl top, with contrasting factory pinstripe. The Buick is equipped with automatic climate control, power drivers seat, air conditioning, power windows, power locks, power antenna, intermittent wipers, automatic trunk release, cruise control, tufted cloth/velvet interior (same seats/interior as the Electra & Park Avenue), and vinyl padded top. Overall the car is immaculate. The title is clear and has no liens. This is an extremely comfortable car, and the last year of the traditional rear wheel drive Buick…with the tried-and-true reliable (and economical) 5.0 liter engine. The car runs and drives beautifully and I’m sure it would go across country effortlessly.
Exterior:
The original paint is a beautiful metallic blue with contrasting navy blue vinyl padded top. The condition of the paint is almost like brand new…no fading, checking, or alligatoring. This is surprising considering how many problems GM had with their paint in the 80’s. The chrome and the stainless steel also shine brilliantly. The vinyl top is also in great shape. The spoked wheel discs are original to the car and have no curb rash to speak of. The exterior is overall in excellent shape and is obvious of the care it has received. There are a few minor scratches here and there but nothing that stands out. There are a few small dings on the doors which paintless dent removal could probably resolve if you want it perfect. The rear bumper also has a small blemish on the lower left hand side which does not stand out unless seen up close. Again, the car is in amazingly nice shape, and is ready for show. Even all 4 headlights are original! The underbody is very solid with no significant rust...only surface "scale" as typical with any car (even new ones) that have seen rain. It was rust proofed when new, and yet probably never needed, considering that it probably never saw snow.
Interior:
The interior is stunning, including the navy blue velvet tufted seats (same as the Park Avenue model) which feel, look, and smell brand new.….and there are NO air fresheners needed in this car! The seats are soft, much like a living room sofa. It was obviously NEVER smoked in. Cigarette lighters were never used. There are no rips, stains or holes. The navy blue carpets are also like new (and very soft/plush), and include all four matching factory floor mats. The headliner does not sag. The dash is beautiful. Arm rests are like new….no wear, stains, etc. Even the stitching in the seats is like brand new. Unlike many Buicks from this era, the faux wood door panels are like new and not faded at all. The power equipment goodies all work, except the cruise control apparently has a loose wire somewhere….one time it worked last week but has not worked since. Amazingly, the power antenna still works. Also, power windows, seats, locks, A/C, radio, etc. all work well.
Mechanical:
The motor purrs like a kitten and is extremely smooth. As mentioned earlier, the motor is the 5.0 engine which was both economical and reliable. The oil has just been changed along with a new filter. The transmission shifts smooth and effortlessly and has just been serviced (fluid flushed and changed with new filter) . It passed the PA safety inspection with flying colors and is valid through August of next year, 2015. My mechanic also inspected the other fluids, hoses, and belts and said they look fine. The A/C compressor appears to have been replaced at one point, and retained the original factory type R12 freon. It still blows cold air, and the automatic climate control works like a charm. I have a few service records from the last couple years. The Michelin tires were recently replaced and all 4 match. Same with the battery. The spare does not appear to have ever left the trunk. The car tracks straight, steering is tight, and brakes stop straight. I am not aware of any leaks underneath the car. I have driven the car several hundred miles without any issue, and wouldn't be afraid to drive anywhere. This baby runs beautifully and is ready for show!
Overall:
If you are looking for a great example of the last of the traditional full size Buick, this one’s for you. The car is gorgeous and gets lots of compliments. I have yet to see another Buick just like it. I’ve sold numerous cars on eBay and in all situations I had positive feedback. I attempt to describe each vehicle as accurately and honestly as possible and I do not think you will be disappointed. As with anything, if you desire to bid on the vehicle, I would encourage you to see it physically and drive it for yourself before you bid. I would not be afraid to drive this car across the country. It runs and drives excellent and will make a very nice classic for you. If you get the winning bid and are not completely satisfied upon your physical inspection, you can walk away from the vehicle, less $100 of your deposit (to pay for the cost of having to relist on eBay).
