1960 MGA --- Vin # GHNL80854 ------ Engine # 15GH U-H-48592 CLEAR TITLE IN HAND AND CURRENTLY REGISTERED TO 2015 I purchased this MGA the estate sale of Mr Casey Curly. He was a local car collector and restorer who passed away last year. His family put his car and car memorabilia collection up for auction last summer. I knew him personally and he was a good and very talented man. This was Mr Curlys daily driver. This car had a complete frame off nut and bolt restoration approx. 5 years ago. I was told from his brother that this car came originally from Arizona. Everything on it was rebuilt to factory specs. The suspension components, Engine, transmission and new wiring harness. It has no rust that I can see anywhere. The body panels are very straight and the paint has been color sanded to a high level. The car runs wonderfully. It tracks dead straight when going 70 mph down the road. It gets about 27 MPG. There are items that are not stock. The seats are Corbeau Classics that were engineered so they fit deeper in the cockpit to give an extra 3 inches of leg room. I am a 6 foot tall, 210 LBS man and the car fits me well. It has Ribbon striped African Mahogany as the cockpit trim. It is a Positive Ground car so it has a Acton Polarity inverter to run the JVC – RM-RK52 AM/FM/CD/MP3-remote control Radio driving 5 Inch Blaupunkt speakers. Things that need attention. Windshield washers are not hooked up, Leaks a little oil out of the front engine seal. It comes with the convertible frame and top and the side door curtains and frames- All need to be restored and put back on. The Odometer and tripometer are not working.
