This is a 1979 FJ40 Toyota Land Cruiser that has been sitting for some time now. The fuel pump when bad and was never replaced. I recently purchased the new fuel pump from www.coolcruisers.com, a new fuel filter, and a new battery for this Land Cruiser. Those items are included in the sale! The engine turns over great. It runs now when you put gas or starting fluid into the carb. As soon as you install the new fuel pump, you should be good to go! This FJ40 is rusty, however it would be the perfect trail rig or great frame off restoration project. The 1979-1983 FJ40 Land Cruiser's are the ones to have! If you are going to do a full restoration on a Land Cruiser start with this one! You will toss most of the metal anyway. I have also found other items for restoration at great prices. (For example, I found a new rust free hood and different bib panel for $220.00. I will help winner purchase these items if they wish.) This FJ40 has very nice original interior. The rear jump seats are like new! The front seats are in great condition except for the drivers seat bottom cushion. Restore this FJ40 and have one of the most expensive 4X4's on the planet! Or, with a little work, drive it as is and have the perfect trail rig at a great price.
