Vehicle Detail

Selling my 1963 Chrysler New Yorker Salon. This a rare car! They only made the Salon model in 63-64. In 63 they built 593 and in 64 they built 1,621. Thats only a total of 2,214 in 2 years! This car has every option including AC, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Auto Pilot (cruise control), Power windows, Power seat, head rest, Arm rest in front and rear, rear cigarette lighters, map lights.....etc. See the pictures for the full list. It has a 413cu V8 with a automatic push button transmission. I bought this car as a project because its just cool, but I just don't have the time to fix it. When I got it there was no radiator, air cleaner, or starter, but everything else seems to be there and original. After I bought it I put in a new starter, plugs, wires, and carb kit, but could never get it started. It turns over slow so I put a oil pump primer on it and it wouldnt' pump. I installed a new oil pump but still could never get oil to the top end of the motor and that is as far as I got. I think theres a possible oil passage blocked or bad bearing in the motor somewhere which isnt allowing oil to the top of the motor. I have not pulled the motor and verified this though. The tires are currently flat but should air up fine. There is some rust in a few places as well as some bondo on the hood and trunk lid and wheel wells. It appears to have been repainted at some point, but most of the clear coat is gone on the top side. I have the original owners manual where the dealer filled out the info on the car. It was originally sold in New York and even have the name of the dealership that sold it! This would make a great restoration project but I just don't have the time or the funds right now and would rather see someone get her running then just let it sit longer. I have a clear Title. Feel free to ask questions. I also have this car for sale locally, so reserve the right to end the auction early. Payment is to be paid in CASH upon pickup and should be picked up within 2 weeks of auction end unless other arrangements are made.
