For your consideration a 2005 Lapis Blue Metallic, Base 997 Carrera. I purchased this from a Lawyer in Oklahoma, who was selling because he purchased a 2014 Cayman. He was a partner in an auto dealership and drove this car for a couple of years. He was the 3&4th noted owner and person who purchased this new was the 1&2nd owner as he moved from LA to Oregon. I have never owned a Porsche, but have owned many collector cars for years. I looked for 3 months to find my first Porsche and when I saw this I knew it was a great car, and I have not been disappointed. I purchased this after pulling a carfax and having it inspected. I do not have the receipts for service prior to my ownership. Per the carfax the car was purchased in Santa Monica, CA at Beverly Hills Porsche with regular services (I called the dealership to confirm) . I purchased it with 50k miles and have driven it in the past 10 months to its current 57k. I love this car and am only selling this and my other toys to put money down on a new 991 Carrera. After I purchased the car, I added Porsche Turbo rims (19x8.5 235/35ZR19 front,19x12 305/30ZR19 rear with not a scratch on them), and brand new tires. The tires have about 3k miles and I never track the car or peel out, so they are like new (see pictures) I love the automatic transmission and will probably never go back to a manual for this type of car, because the number of stop lights in the town. I had the 60k major service in February 2014 when the car had 54k miles (all receipts included). At that time I also had the brakes serviced with brand new rotors, pads, sensors, ect. This car runs like a top, and is a true everyday driver. The car had a front license, but NC does not require one. I do not have the plate holder, and used touch up paint (professionally matched) to touch up the front bumper. I climbed all over this car and I cannot find that this car has ever been in an accident, and the car fax can confirm this, along with the clean title. This car does have minor rock chips on front but had been garaged by myself and the previous owner. And, from the looks of the car by first the owner. (lots of little touches that add to this car. Porsche chrome valve stems, colored center caps, clear signal indicators) On the inside, I had a Pioneer touch screen stereo installed and the climate panel reconditioned. If you look at 997 Porsche's they had problems with the paint coming off the dials and toggle switches. These were professionally redone and look brand new. The stereo has bluetooth, Pandora and Satellite radio. I paid a year in advance and will transfer this to the new owner for no additional cost. The Bluetooth hands free for the mobile phone works great. I have Carrera S mufflers with the dual exhaust tips that I was going to switch out. I purchased them from a gentleman that had them on his car for about two weeks before he had a performance system added. I have not put them on yet but they are also included, along with the working factory radio. This beautiful car was $74,455.00 when new and is what I can see the lowest priced 997 on ebay, auto trader, excellence website, and car gurus.
