Up for auction is this gorgeous 1976 Porsche 911S, VIN 9116201702. Finished in guards red with a nice patina of bare metal shining through. Top of the line fiberglass body kit has been installed and really completes the look! Jokes aside its a pretty straight, complete and solid (not rusty) car that has been sitting for many years. 76 911S 2.7 (probably the original engine) is installed and turns freely by hand, was told it was “running when parked” but we have done nothing more than verify that the engine is not seized up. Engine has Carrera chain tensioners. 915 gearbox. All brake and suspension components are in place. All glass is intact, gauges look decent, seats need recovering but are in decent shape. A/C components intact. Factory whale tail. Phone dials in good condition (it had some fancy black and red, really wide MOMO looking 5 spokes on it with flat tires. You can have them too if you want them!) ODO shows 90k miles but no records to verify. Sunroof panel is missing. Restore or part it out, originally light yellow. Sold on a bill of sale only unless you really, really want to restore it in which case I will go get a current GA transferable registration (add $100 to sales price for this). Located in Atlanta.
