Up for auction is a very nice condition early production Porsche Boxster. This car is known for its outstanding handling characteristics and wonderful steering feel. This is the 2.5 liter base model with tiptronic (shiftable automatic) transmission. Buttons on the steering wheel allow for manual gear changes, or you can opt to simply drive it as a regular automatic. It has a great exhaust note, good tires, and no major mechanical faults. The body is in good condition with some dings on the body and rock chips on the front bumper (see photo), but nothing significant.The interior is in good nick, outside of some wear on the driver's side seat bolster which can be seen in the photos. The convertible top works perfectly and does not seem to leak, although I park it in the garage so I cannot say with 100% certainty.I just did an oil change and transmission fluid flush, so those things are taken care of. I just drove the car for 170 miles from Columbus GA to Athens GA last week and it ran flawlessly. AC works great! The car just needs a new owner and another curvy road.Clean and clear title available. Ask any questions you may have, I will be glad to answer them. In the interest of an honest and fair transaction, I would also like to note a couple of defects:-Convertible top malfunction light is lit on the dash--probably a bad microswitch, top works fine.-Driver's side CV axle boot is torn and needs to be repacked/replaced-Front hood latch is broken and requires using the emergency pull to open.
