The price is at KBB for a vehicle in "Fair" condition and I have already accounted in that price the items noted below. I have title clean and clear in-hand. When thinking about the price let's remember this vehicle MSRP's was for over $50k just 10 years ago and that, in all honesty, it is closer to "Good" condition than "Fair".Per KBB: "Fair condition means that the vehicle has some mechanical or cosmetic defects and needs servicing but is still in reasonable running condition. This vehicle has a clean Title History, the paint, body and/or interior need work performed by a professional."I can meet at Chapel Hill area NCSECU Credit Unions to test drive and notarization of title for free. :)Note this is my daily driver so mileage will likely be a bit higher than shown. I only put about 20 miles/day on it though. This is also why I am selling it (getting a Nissan LEAF).The "some" mechanical ** and cosmetic defects * are noted below.Please no scams / scammers. The Good:It is black and looks really sharp!4matic = AWDABSFront and side airbagsStability controlAll electronics work (Navigation / CD / radio / windows / steering wheel controls / etc)Interior is leather (MBTEX) and is in excellent shapeClean Carfax (I have and can send)Freshly installed SBC unit (if you are interested in a W211 of this vintage you'll know that is a good thing). New front right control arm and CV bootTires have about 90% treadNew front visors (again this is a common failure for a W211)It has a 3rd row way-way back which my kids love.The Bad:It is black and gets hot in the summer time!It takes only premium fuel and in-town mileage won't exceed 20 mpg. On the highway you can get 27.** It needs two new CV boots so you will hear those rattle from time to time* Drink holder unit needs replacing (but works)A previous owner put slotted rotors on the front which are perfectly serviceable but aren't the quietest things in the world. If I were keeping the car I would get them replaced.The ugly:It is black and shows dust. * Paint scratches on hood.* It has two dents. One is on the front left quarter panel and the other is on the tailgate (see pics)* It has rust on the left rear quarter panel (see pics)* Chip in lower front of bumper (see pic)The car has lived most of its life in New York and Connecticut (thus the noted rust).
