Vehicle Detail

This REALLY is a one owner RARE International Harvester 150 4x4. For the most it's a survivor. But I'd like to talk first about the FILE of service records and general information that goes with the sale of this iconic SUV. The original owner kept every receipt and factory paperwork and painstakingly created a file. The pictures shown can't begin to show how detailed these records were kept. Read on.... not only was EVERY receipt kept, it was "numbered" from 1-115 or so that relates to the receipts that are neatly organized in this folder. Oh, the folder is around 1' thick. Every oil change, light bulb or mechanical work is filed neatly and orderly!!! It's amazing!!! All the factory manuals and pamphlets are kept neatly in another original IH folder. The warranty, line setting ticket...even the dealer's "trunk sticker" is attached in this paperwork. All in all this paperwork is as extensive as anything you'll EVER see again!! OPTIONS: I'd say it has most options that were offered on this truck in 1975. Factory AC that still blows COLD!! V392 4-barrel engine and automatic transmission. 4x4 with locking hubs. Tu-tone paint and RARE IH chrome wheels. Add ons are a "Dana" cruise control that works, and a nice stereophonic 8-track that doesn't work!! Tutone paint and factory dual gas tanks. Only the main tank works the front tank hasn't been used in decades!! MECHANICALLY SPEAKING: It's in need of some love...it starts but needs a restart a few times. It runs and drives, and the transmission shifts smoothly. There is a leak in the transmission that will need to be addressed. Going down the road it runs "ok" but has a miss under a load. I'm not sure if it's fuel or ignition related. Like I said, under a load it misses till it smooths out. The motor sounds good under the circumstances. The 4x4 does work. COSMETICALLY SPEAKING: I want to say that this is a restoration project. But I think it will be an easy one remember that what you SEE is mostly original. The rust you see was "bondoed" a long time ago and is popping out again. THE RUST IS ISOLATED to the area over the wheel wells and low on the rear quarter panels. The truck was Ziebart rust proofed when new and it did a good job for the most part. The floors and frame are solid and rust free. There's a support shown that has some corrosion but it isn't structural or a major situation. The right front fender has some perforations at the top as shown. The tailgate is very solid with a few perforations as shown. Rocker panels....an area prone for rust....SOLID, minor corrosion but no rust through present!!! It's amazing and original!!! The chrome is in decent shape, as are the bumpers and grill. The power rear window was disconnected and converted to a crank. The crank is broken but the window goes up and down just fine. The interior is in overall excellent condition!! One small tear on the side of the drivers seat, otherwise the fabric is in nice shape. The carpet, headliner, dash pad are excellent!! Glass is original and in good shape. The door panels are nice with 70's style speakers added. The carpet in the cargo area shows some wear and you'll want to replace it. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT THIS IS AN UNRESTORED ORIGINAL!! Other than the rear fender issue, this Travelall has had NO restorations!! PERIOD. This IS the real deal for those that want a clean sheet of paper to start with. And with all the records that go with the sale, this rates as a one-of-a-kind!!! THE TRAVELALL IS BEING SOLD IN AS-IS CONDITION. NEEDING RESTORATION CONDITION. Any questions be sure and ask before you bid.
