If you are looking specifically for a Reatta then you know all the wonderful things about these cars. Hand assembled / Built to compete with M.B. Sports coupe / Factory priced three times the average 1988 GM products. And on and on. This car was so far ahead of its time it is simply amazing. Ride in absolute comfort with auto heating / cooling system. This car starts (it actually starts faster than any car I have ever owned – don’t know why, but it does) and idles and run as smooth as can be. This car will remind you if you are speeding and will on the proper day tell you it is your wife’s birthday – will your current car do that? The touch screen system is simply fantastic for a car that is 26 years old. Front tires have exactly 4 miles on them (the trip back from the tire shop). The rear tires are 7 out of 10 – that’s what the tire ship said. PERFECT windshield and rear window. The only thing that does not seem to be working is the tape player – it just keeps wanting to change directions – from days of old I think this is a small broken belt that can be replaced by the proper size O-ring. VIN # 1G4EC11CXJB902376 Clear Title. Car is on fresh Mobil One oil change and has a full tank of fuel. A/C system was just serviced (it was low on 134a – yes the care has been converted from the Freon gas). It now blows very cold air. Comes will all manuals to include very expensive full factory service manual. The in dash screen told me exactly what was wrong – It was serviced and then the in dash touch screen system allow me to (Free!) clear the low air conditioning gas warning light – What a neat deal! The factory service manual is very nice in this car because the fantastic screen display will allow to enter the service mode which will display every engine and system code – you can then look up these codes in the included manual and you are off and running. The car will store a history of operational codes, allow you to reset codes (no more going the dealer and spending $45.00 to turn off a trouble light that should now have flashed in the first place!) So why am I selling? I looked for months on Ebay and elsewhere to find a very nice Reatta Convertible with no luck – then I saw this beauty and bought it – sure enough, about as week later the Reatta Convertible of my dreams popped up so I purchased that – I do not need two of them. This is about as nice as you can find for a 26 year old car. Why spend $40K+ for a new car when this should carry you in style and comfort for another 100,000 miles!
