1973 SAAB V4 built 6/1972 one family owned since new. purchased new 1972 in San Jose California by father, now owned by son. last year SAAB model 96 imported into USA engine runs strong, no smoke or leaks. starts right up any weather. valve job, trans rebuilt freewheel neutered. new battery new radial tires. new rear brake cyls, all new flex hoses, flushed & bled. new pads supplied as still life in present fronts, good rear shoes. electric rad fan installed & kicks in as it should. locking SAAB gas cap w/ 2 keys. all glass original & excellent. very good headliner. minor crack in dash top. great carpet ( some stains, may wash out). rear seats excellent, fronts have some splits in seams. door panels very clean, (right rear 1/4 black trim missing). tight suspension & steering. stock exhaust system. engine oil & trans just changed, remote oil filter. clean gas tank with no storage issues. clean trunk, spare & jack. factory shop manual, sales brochure & glove box manual. original key works in ign, doors & trunk. very good bumpers, Bosch headlights. new rear lenses. repainted years ago but faded. rust bubbles around both front turn signals. some rust-through in driver's outer floor as outer seam, passenger side better, rust from fresh water leaks puddling from inside I'm told, not salt. some dings & scrapes as seen in photos. a great running daily driver or EZ rust repairable minor issues for you salt belt residents. reliable, drive anywhere even cross country with security. runs fine on today's gasoline. I am helping owner not familiar with E-bay selling so he can finish restoration on his father's very nice '67 'LD' 2 stroke car. car runs great. drive & enjoy as it is, or body & paint restore. mechanically sound & kept up. no structural rust in any suspension areas, engine or trunk areas. just minor rust in floors & turn signals as described & photos. clear Washington title in original owner's name & collector vehicle permanent license plate. but it now price of $2850.00 contact: Dan (360) 820-2057 cell ( I work crazy hours, so may not be able to answer or reply immediately). 7 day auction closed Wednesday evening, July 9 Pacific Time 7:00 PM PS: horn works, but a contact part in steering column is missing. radio has been removed, speakers remain. can store for a while & help load for shipping, or you just drive it away a SAAB for SAAB-minded people On Jul-04-14 at 22:40:14 PDT, seller added the following information: the paint color is a sandy tan.
