Vehicle Detail
This is a 1974 Honda CB750. I purchased this last year from the widow of the owner, who owned it for 30 years or so. The owner customized the bike back in the mid 80's. The bike is as it was back in that period. The bike was lowered, added a king and queen seat, custom handle bars, removed the turn signals, remounted the headlight, removed the large kick stand, replaced the airbox with velocity stacks, chromed some of the engine parts and relocated the starter button. All of these modifications can be returned to stock if desired. The tank, side cover's and fenders were painted black lacquer. I bought it because it was a really nice period bike, exactly what alot of guy's did back in that time, probably to look more like a Harley. The bike is in good running condition. The carbs could use a through cleaning, as most older bikes due. The paint is aging and beginning to crack as shown in the photo's. The side covers have cracks as well. I changed the oil, plugs and checked the points and found it has electronic ignition. Both tires look to be new. The bike starts up quick and runs fairly well for having sat in a garage for several years. Clutch is good and both brakes work fine. The odometer shows 20,185 original miles. The bike is a nice example of a vintage customized bike. The bike can be ridden as it is or restored back to it's original classic or custom condition. I'll add a few extra parts that I have for a 74 Honda 750 - handle bars, new chain, a swing arm with foot pegs, an airbox, rear grab bar with rear turn signals, left and right handle bar switches, stock height rear shocks and stock beaker points plate. Ask questions. Prefer local pick up but will ship at the buyers expense. U-Ship allows trucking companies to bid on the shipment, which gives great shipping prices. No tools or manual.
