1981 HONDA GOLDWING GL1100 Up for auction is a well kept GL1100 Goldwing that is still being driven on a weekly basis. It has a Windjammer fairing with bags and trunk. It is black in color with a shade of blue in the right sunlight. It has very few scratches (if any) and a little sunfading on the upper right side of the gas tank cover. All lighting and instrumentation work. It starts right up (likes a little choke for a few seconds) idles nicely, runs and shifts nicely. Brakes work well however front brake has a little more travel than the rear but grabs fine. The bike cruises nicely at 50-60 mph but starts to falter at 70 and up. I feel its time to pull the carbs and reset the floats. The air suspension needs air from time to time so it may have a leak in the system. Other than that this bike is in excellent condition for its age. Recent service includes: Motor Oil and Filter Change, Air and Fuel Filter replacements, Spark Plug replacements, Battery replacement (Yuasa), Radiator Flush, Brake Fluid Flush, and Differential Fluid Change.
