I'm selling my 1956 Cadillac Miller Meteor Hearse. This has been a California car all of its life. It has less than 10,000 miles on a New Chevy 350 motor. I have been slowly restoring her over the last few years, but ran out of money. Let me give a little background on the car. I purchased her from a couple in near Lancaster, a desert city down in Southern California. I brought her up to the Central Coast and that is where she currently remains. The Cadillac has been a California car all of its life and had very little rust damage to the car. Over the last few years I had been putting money into the car whenever I could. All the mechanical work has been done by a local certified mechanic. Everything done to the car has been documented. New Chevy 350 motor with less than 10,000 miles on it. Recently tuned and inspected for leaks. All the gaskets were replaced. New Chevy Transmission. Dual shocks added to stiffen the suspension. Upgraded break system. Whole floor has been repaired rust free. It had been coated with anti-rust primer to protect it. Under body coated with rubberized coating to prevent rust and road grime. Rear Coffin area mostly upholstered and nearly finished And much more..... The hearse has everything you need to get it restored. When I purchased the car, a second parts hearse was stripped for spare parts. The hearse comes with the original door panels which are very rare to find. They just need to be reupholstered. I have spare windows, bumpers, interior trim original rims and newer white wall tires. Too much to list, but meticulously sorted and organized in our shop. I have around $10,000 into the car. The car runs great and wouldn't hesitate taking it on a road trip today! This is a project car and does need some bodywork and interior work done, but the car drives great.
