Selling a Jeep Grand Cherokee V8 Limited as another vehicle was purchased. Car was running and driving before the battery died (wasn't started while sitting). I jumped it last week and test drove it but after shutting it off, the battery died again. Recent repairs include fan clutch (1 yr ago), blower resistor and motor, and alternator (2 weeks before retiring car). 3 tires are in very good condition. 1 needs immediate replacement. Body has some scratches and dents but very, very minimal rust. I believe only rust spot is by the hood lip. Only body damage that is not easily fixable is the dent on the rear hatch pictured. Driver's side mirror for some reason turned gold. Pass. headlight is hazy. The bumpers have small cracks but look easily fixable. Rear end will need oil as there's a bit of a whine, it's been that way since I purchased it. The car was checked out by a mechanic prior to buying a new vehicle and he said it needed a new rear axle seal. There is no check engine light on. The check gauge light comes on due to a bad oil pressure switch ($50 part). I replaced the switch with an aftermarket part and was fixed but being aftermarket, it soon went bad again and I didn't bother replacing it again. Hood shocks need replacing as well (keep hood open / up when desired). To summarize, car needs very little to be driveable again. It needs a new battery, 1 tire and possibly front brakes as there was a bit of a vibration upon braking. Car will need to be towed as it needs a battery and 1 tire really bad. The spare has a screw in the sidewall. Car has black leather interior and sunroof. Mileage is 209k. I bought it from a 40 yr old gentleman who got it from his parents (original owners). I then gave it to my sister so very few owners. I believe I bought it with 192k miles on it. Car comes basically with almost all options from the factory except it has an aftermarket cd player. You see similar mileaged vehicles selling for 3-4k or for 2500 but needing a new motor and trans and 17 other major problems. Vehicle needs to be removed from the property so I'm selling it at no reserve and starting it off very very cheaply. Vehicle is sold as is.
