This is an extremely rare opportunity to own a barn find Corvair Spyder convertible 3 speed! As seen in the pictures this vehicle was in a forgotten private collection stored inside a sealed shed for over 30 years. The collection was only opened up after the owner passed away. I purchased this vehicle solely for the purpose of selling it to someone who will bring her back to life. I'm no body guy but it seems to have survived very well. The paint appears to be a repaint but with the exception of some chipping around a dent on the passenger side it seems to be in good condition. We removed the lower trim pieces & the rockers are in good shape. What we can see of the wheel wells appears to be rust free. Drivers side floor plan will need replaced, that's the only non-surface rust we saw. Engine turns over well with a battery but has no spark, we did not attempt to change any parts or to get it running. Interior is in GREAT condition & just needs cleaned up & a few touch ups. Top is perfect also. Glass is all good. This car is VERY savable & very desirable. Anyone who knows corvairs knows there are none rarer than a red spyder 3 speed convertible.
