Here is an awesome example of a barn find. An original paint, running and driving 1967 Pearl white (L-87) and Velvet green (L-512) standard micro Volkswagen bus. This bus comes as is and seen in these photos, a very solid project that has no accident damage, with an almost perfect - straight belt and roof line, this bus – for sure is a candidate for a show winning restoration or a little work and it would be a very nice patina rich driver. Some of the details are, it has a ball joint front end, a single port 1600 motor that runs good but needs tuning and carburetor cleaning, the transmission is a big nut and in good shape, the brakes seem to work good, the electrical is 12 volt ’of course’ and most of it works, the rust is pretty much isolated to the rockers and patches on the outer floors, but the frame and out riggers are dry, the rear battery corner is rusted out due to a leaky battery, a donor corner is included, the passenger side seat bottom looks like a makeshift from a driver bottom but it will take upholstery nicely . This is an Oregon bus for 30+ years and has an original emblem! Over all this is a great bus and it needs a good owner. THANKS FOR LOOKING
