This 1966 Ranchero is an exceptional, rust free car that has had some serious upgrades done to it in the last few years. I just this year finished it and put it back on the road. It never fails to draw a crowd when parked somewhere. It runs and drives very well and gets excellent fuel mileage with the rebuilt small block v-8 and the overdrive transmission. There has been less than 300 miles put on the car since all of the work has been done. Here is a run down on it. · Rebuilt 302 w/ Crane lifters, lunati pushrods, Edelbrock aluminum intake, Edelbrock 600 carb, Electronic ignition w/ MSD 6-AL control box and MSD Blaster coil· Ceramic Coated F-40 Exhaust Manifolds· New Ranchero Aluminum Valve Covers · Dual exhaust W/ crossover pipe, Saleen Stainless Steel mufflers and Saleen chrome tips· New High Torque mini starter, K+N style air filter, Aluminum Radiator w/ overflow bottle, and Duralast Gold Battery· Rebuilt AOD four speed automatic transmission · Rebuilt 8" rear end with new 3.73 gears and posi-traction· New front wheel cylinders, brakes, and shocks· New Aluminum MB Old School Wheels 15x8 rear 15x7 front· New Cooper CS4 Touring radials 225-60 rear, 195-55 front· Nicely massaged rust free body with Metalux Base/Clear Deep Black Cherry paint· All bumpers, trim, door handles, emblems, Grill, ect. were removed before body was gone thru. Even the cowl panel was removed and painted separately so the metal underneath could be sprayed properly· Thunderbolt scoop installed using Fusor high tech adhesive for a truly permanent installation with no cracking. Underside of hood was completely opened up and finished off with fiberglass; The look of a fiberglass hood with the strength and durability of a metal hood· Bed sprayed with Raptor two component Bed Liner. Two Spring loaded tie downs W/ heavy duty backing plates· Chassis sprayed with Rubberized Undercoating · Custom made Fiberglass Smugglers box installed full length under the bed and accessed behind the seat· New Sony Media Center that holds your I-pod, I-phone, or any usb device inside and can be accessed by the front or its remote control. Also has AM/FM and Pandora Playback capability · New Lanzar three way speakers - Very nice sounding system· New Custom built Instrument Panel W/ New Auto Meter Gauges including Tachometer, Fuel Gauge, Volts, Oil Pressure, Water Temp, and an Electronic Speedometer that can be programmed easily to accommodate changes in tire size, rear axle gear changes, ect.· New Fuel Sender and float· Grant Steering Wheel W/ good working horn· Headliner, Sun visors, Carpet, Door Weather-strip, Beltline Weather-strip, Tinted Windows all done in the last few years· Two defects to mention are the seam at the top edge of the drivers side seat needs re-stitched, and the dash pad has a couple of cracks on top.· Glass is all good and very nice; windows roll up and down smoothly, and doors open and close very well. There are some small pits in the windshield, but no bull's-eyes or cracks. I believe I have covered most everything, but if there are any questions, please write. I have a very fair reserve on this car and expect to sell it the first time out, so there is no reason to ask what my reserve is. As with any used car, it is sold "as-is" and will come with a clear, numbers matching, Oregon State Title in my name. Registration is good until 2015. I will need a 500 dollar deposit by way of Paypal immediately following the auction, with the balance due in the form of Cash, Cashiers check or Bank Transfer.
