Vehicle Detail

I'm selling my 2002 BMW 525i Wagon. It's an automatic and has approximately 107,000 miles. I'm the second owner. The car has a full service history. It's been well cared for it's entire life. It is Sterling Gray Metallic with Black Leather interior. It has factory Xenon (HID) headlights and rear window shades. The good:Lots of recent service (with documentation) including:Serpentine belt, A/C belt and tensioners and idler pulleysFront and rear brakes including pads, rotors, fluid, and braided stainless steel brake linesNew valve cover gasket, oil filter housing gasket (a common oil leak point on these cars)Differential oil changeIt also has a BavSound Soundplicity iPod adapter system, these are the best on the market for BMWs of this vintageGood tires (all-season Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S)The Bad:The LCD displays in the radio and the instrument cluster have the very very common dead pixel problem. Every BMW of this age has this issue. This is totally fixable without having to replace the radio or cluster, it's a couple hundred dollars for a rebuild, many services are available on eBay etc.The traction control light is on. This is another very common problem with these cars that is caused by the DSC module overheating (it's right above the exhaust manifold in the engine bay). This is also rebuildable for a couple hundred dollars. The ABS is fully functional and I've never had a situation where I've missed having traction control (it's not a fast or sporty car). The front bumper was damaged recently when the car was parked on my street. There is no structural damage, only the bumper cover was damaged. The hood has paint chips of varying sizes. This has been a fantastic car for my wife and I but our lifestyle has changed somewhat and we need something a little smaller. This wagon would be perfect for anyone with a family or someone looking for lots of room without the extra expense or hassle of an SUV. Overall, it's in great shape with only the few small issues that I mentioned previously. I have a huge folder of receipts for service and parts which will of course be going with the vehicle.
