Vehicle Detail

1976 Early Ford Bronco, No Reserve I purchased this Bronco 18 years ago and put about 50,000 miles on it myself since its purchase in 1996 and installed a rebuilt 351 W crate motor about 30,000 miles and 5 years ago. The odometer now reads 23,550 miles on it, I am pretty sure it is actually 223,550 on the vehicle. I’m sad to see it go but its time for me to raise some funds for a new business. This truck is a super sound runner. I have kept up with all full service oil changes every 3-4k miles. Since I have had it I have replaced and upgraded much of the truck, getting stronger and better parts than what came on it. I have held off doing much to the body or paint though, as I was putting everything I could into it for reliability and durability. So I consider the truck kind of stealth, in that mechanically it is super sound, upgraded, and complete. It’s been in need of a paint job for many years, and if you were now ready, the paint choice is all yours. The usual Bronco rust spots are very clean on this truck, the floor pans and door posts are in great shape. I built this for sturdy off-road use, but only made it rock crawling to Moab a handful of times. Original Goodies (some specific to the 76 and 77 years) -Power Steering -Disc Brakes -Dana 44 Front End -Larger Bearing Heavy Duty Rear End -Ford Factory Electronic Ignition -2 Gas Tanks (although the aux tank has been converted to a 5 gallon from the original 8 and has no gauge read on that aux.) -Hard Top Included Upgrades -351 W Engine (around 30,000 miles since rebuild) It has the original intake and 2-Barrel Carburetor I prefer for its simplicity, reliability and gas efficiency. -Dual Exhaust with Flowmaster Mufflers ($369) -4-Speed New Process transmission from a Ford F250 pickup (a bullet proof transmission that should last Until the end of time) -Heavy Duty 4-Core Radiator and metal fan shroud ($350) -Loc-Rite Rear Locker (gear ratio is 350:1) -T-Style Shifter Dana 20 transfer case from an earlier bronco (lower gearing) -Warn Locking Hubs -James Duff Power Brake Booster ($435) -Upgraded the 76’s poorly designed Inverted Y Tie Rod/Drag Link to the stout system from Wild Horses ($350) -Custom Front and Rear Bumper with hitch mount and KC Daylighters. James Duff rear bumper with tire and can rack ($819) -Locking Center Console and matched locking gas caps -Professionally Done Spray on Bed Liner after I sand blasted the bed. -Marine Carpet Kit -Bucket Seats -Replaced Floor Pans With Galvanized Steel -Polyurethane Front End Bushings replaced from old rubber style -Flexible Fender Flares -Dual Front Shocks -Centech Wiring Harness (a far superior to the original cost me $500 and a lot of hours) -Custom Built Drive Shafts ($450) -Saginaw Power Steering Pump (Far outlasts the ford stock pumps that I went through several of) -Bikini Top -Roll Bar -Trimmed Rocker Panels with added reinforced thick steel beams for durability. -12 Gallon Original Main Gas Tank, and the original side auxiliary 8-gallon tank has been replaced with a 5-gallon mounted system due to the shorter rocker panels. There is no fuel gauge in the 5 gallon tank. -Door and Dash Speaker set/Stereo w/ 6 disc CD Changer -Dash knobs -Tachometer -Manual Choke and Manual Throttle -Dash Cover -Larger 14” Jeep Cherokee Wiper Blade Conversion -Headlight Wiring w/Relay Upgrade (Brighter than factory system) -Heavy duty Front Coil Springs from and F-150 -Larger Mirrors Other Replacements/Work I Did in Last 30,000 Miles -MOST ALL PARTS HOOKED ONTO & PLUGGED INTO THE ENGINE. -All brake pads, shoes, rotors, and drums -Clutch -Bearings -Alignment -Windshield and Gasket (installed last month) -Wiper Motor -Heater Core and Seal Kit -Headlight, Ignition, & Wiper Switches -Fuel Pump -Power Steering Box, pump, and booster -Battery, Solenoid, Starter, Alternator Things That Need to be Done with the Truck I am listing everything I know to be wrong with the vehicle so there will be no surprises. I used all the 24 pics ebay allows so this weekend I will upload more pics to a different site and try to include a link in this listing. -Some paint and body damage as seen in pics -Bumpers need a good sandblasting and paint -Blinker auto cancel is broken -Tires needing replacement in the very near future (photo is of the worst one) -The windshield fluid pump motor is not working -Around the top along the edges of parts of the sprayed on bed liner the liner has starting to peel off, over the last couple of years. There is slight rust from where it has been exposed. -Various Slight oil leaks SummaryMore Pictures can be viewed at Photobucket by clicking here...
