Vehicle Detail

This is a True Barn find, found in the plains of Wyoming, this classic 31 Buick Model 57 was put in resting in 1964. The original owner passed away and the estate put it up for sale where it was discovered in 2013, the car was towed to Alabama where it was given a new set of Cokers and some minor tune up work, car has original interior, motor and drive train, New honeycomb style radiator was installed when original wasn't able to be reused. Car is very solid, no major rust just surface rust, I have both Side mounts but wheels will need to be cleaned and new tires mounted on them, All gauges work except fuel gauge, as seen in pics, Top was replaced by local interior shop and job is so so, didn't use the right staples, this is a true time capsule, interior w need redone completely but its so OG I didn't even have the heart to wash it heavy, please contact me for more info, pics were taken as off today other than pics of the recovery from WY, I am only listing this for sale to fund some home renovations, this car should be in a western Museum, still the original frame and wooden bows, message for more info, I have the right to end the auction early, thanks for lookingOn Jun-26-14 at 05:41:11 PDT, seller added the following information: I have received numerous messages on the condition of motor and drivetrain, I wanted to try and clear them up. This car runs excellent, motor runs and idles very smooth, Temp and Oil pressure gauges work as should, only gauge I do believe that is not working is the gas gauge. This car can be driven as is, brakes stop fine, E brake work, speedo and odometer work, Headlights need to be rewired, I have the Buick grill emblem that mounts between the headlights but its not shown in pics, this is a perfect car to restore or if you are into the patina look as I am, it is ready to go, please ask if you have any questions, I am only selling this car to do some home renovations, its just as fun to look at in garage as it is to drive.
