The 1987 300D Turbo is a joy to drive. More powerful and better handling than the older W123 cars with their less-powerful OM617 engines, more fuel-efficient and aerodynamic, the 1987 300D Turbo (W124, OM603) was the first "modern" Mercedes diesel. The body style was copied by almost everyone and still looks "new" today. A typical car will get 25 MPG around town and 34 MPG on the road. These were one model year cars very rare and collectible. This Mercedes Benz 300D Turbo is a two owner car with no accidents. It was repainted five years ago and the paint shows some fade. The body is straight and dent free. The tires are a match set and shows 6/32. The brakes are good and suspension is tight. All the light and glass works and sunroof opens. The interior is clean and dry. The M-Tex seats are in good condition for age. The headliner is tight and carpet is clean. The AC is cold and the heat works. The Becker Grand Prix radio does not turn on however, there is power at the radio. The engine starts and runs good. No warning lights on dash. The transmission shifts good and the car is reliable. There is some surface rust on the left and right rockers at jack ports. Some rust on both rear doors(see photos). Please review photos for condition.
