Here we have a 1966 VW bus thats in fair- average condition for its age. The VIN plate is missing from the vehicle, The VIN number listed was taken from the P.O.s registration, which he last had it on the road in 2007. Im trying to get the title and vin.He lost the title, but may be able to get a duplicate. However,thats a lot of maybes, so Im listing it as a parts vehicle. He said it ran in 2007, but wasnt ran or used since then, the engine turns over turning by hand, so its probably rebuildable,if not OK. AS can be seen in the pictures,it has some rusty areas, but the main frame and body overall ,is repairable,in my opinion. The roof looks fine, bottom of the side doors ,and rockers are rusty. The wheelbase looks to be about 94", not sure if they have different lengths on these buses. The shifter is there, but not mounted,it had some sort of shift linkage problems. The vehicle can be seen in person, contact seller for details. The bus sells AS-IS, where is, it does have keys, and it rolls, and steers, can help load on a car carrier,etc. To be picked up within two weeks of auction end.
