This is a great bike, in great shape. No issues. Consistently serviced by BMW dealers (w/synthetics) since I bought it. I purchased it in December of 2011 from a local Las Vegas news anchor (legendary around here, on air for 32 years!) and, at that time, the bike had 22k on the clock. I've put another 22k on it and it's just getting started! I think you'll agree that the pictures confirm this is a very well cared-for example of a terrific, meticulously maintained bike. If you're not familiar with the 2nd generation "K" line from BMW, check out the "k-bikes" website for all the info you can possibly digest. It's where I went before buying this one, my first BMW. I've had 23 motorcycles since I started riding in 1984 (at 14) and the "K" is now my all-time favorite motorcycle! It's a rocket-ship when you want it to be and a super-comfy touring bike when you just need to put some distance between you and the last town. I just bought another BMW motorcycle (yet another K-bike!) and don't have the room in my garage for two of them. It really is a fantastic looker/runner. It has served me quite well and I'm sure the new owner won't be disappointed either. The bike does show light wear and very minor scratches/chips which I have done my best to illustrate in the photos. There are no surprises. All manufacturer recommended maintenance is up to date, performed by BMW service center as scheduled. This includes the 18k and 36k major services (valve check and total fluid replacement). All BMW recall work is up-to-date as well (updated timing chain tensioner / jump guard and fuel pump are the 2 biggies and they've both been done). All minor recall work has been completed as well. A full printed dealer service history is also available. Please notify me if you need this, as I will need to get it from the Las Vegas BMW service department. *NOTE:The Bill Mayer seat, Cal-Sci windscreen, Adaptiv radar detector and BMW tank-bag shown in the pictures above are NOT included in the sale. However, MV "bar backs" (raises and moves handlebars approx 1" up and 1" closer to rider) are installed but not pictured above.
