I have a 1983 Chevy Silverado half ton 4x4 long bed. This rust free CA truck has 68 thousand original miles. optioned with 350 engine and four speed automatic transmission. (trans replaced by the dealer in 1994 at 31k miles), p/s, tilt wheel, cruise, delay wipers, A/C. This truck has never been used as a work truck or for off roading. I bought her four years ago from the original owner with only 43 thousand miles on it, I have paper work that proves it. The truck was repainted three years ago at a cost of $8000 with the original two tone paint colors so the paint and body are still in really good shape I say 9 out of 10 way better then the factory could have done. At the same time a 6 inch lift was installed. The interior is in great condition. The dash, bench seat, headliner and weather striping were re done last year. It has a brand new set of 33x12.5x15 Laredo uniroyal tires. The lights on the roll bar are new but have never been connected.
