True Original Arizona Desert Southwest Barn Find. 1965 Ford F-100 1/2 ton Styleside Short Wheelbase. NO RUST !!! This is an Original Arizona Desert Southwest Ranch Truck. Its been here in Arizona all of its 49 plus years used as a Ranch/Farm truck. It has been well taken care of and well maintained, sheltered inside of a machine shed. NO RUST....I doubt if it has ever seen snow, sleet, or ice. The body-sheet metal is all in very good condition, with no rust. The only ding-dent is in the right front fender (see photo). At some point in time, the truck was repainted (unknown when). The seat was recovered and the carpet was added. The original rubber floor mat is still under the carpet....in good condition. The dash is in original condition....NO holes or cutting. Powerful 240 C.I. six cylinder, runs good...no smoking, 3 speed transmission. manual steering, manual brakes, no radio. The inside of the bed is in great condition, no dings or dents. This truck is made of STEEL....no sissy plastic stuff here....this is a MANS TRUCK!!! The odometer shows 65,991 miles. I DO NOT KNOW IF THESE ARE THE TRUE ACTUAL MILES......HOWEVER.....As original, clean, straight, rust free, well maintained as this truck is, this very well could be true miles. NEW PARTS: Voltage Regulator, Alternator, Coil, Starter, Starter Solenoid, Distributor Cap, Plug Wires, Aluminum Radiator, Upper & Lower Radiator Hoses, Fuel Pump and Hoses, Battery (May 2013), Battery Cables, Fan Belt, Tie Rod Ends, King Pin Bolt Set, Rear Brakes. GLASS: All original (FoMoCo Logo's on all glass). The Windshield does need to be replaced-has multiple chips & cracks. Wing windows, door glass, & back glass are all good with no cracks or chips. WHEELS: Rally Sport Wheels off of a late Model Jeep. TIRES: P235/65/15"R The tires are marginal. They are serviceable for in town-short driving trips, but probably not road worthy for the long haul. If you have been searching for a "Shop Truck", "Patina", "Rat Rod", a "Total Restoration Truck".....THIS IS THE ONE!!! This is a SOLID, RUST FREE, good driving, dependable, well taken care of Ford Truck. Save time and $$$$$$....This is one that won't cost a fortune of body work, rust repair issues, or headaches.
