Brought this jeep with me from Los Angeles, CA 11 months ago. Stored inside the garage all winter and has never seen salt or snow. Has one rust bubble at the bottom of the front window (smaller than a quarter). Other than that, absolutely no rust or rust repair. Has the original white paint. Has a new 4.2L engine with 6,000 miles on it. The engine was purchased from S&J engines out of Washington State. Installed new clutch with the motor. The motor has an oversized camshaft. Has custom seat covers, new battery, new carb (with spare carb), new distributor, plugs, wires and the transmission was replaced in 2011 ( I have the receipt from previous owner). Bimini top is 2 years old and in good condition. Has new headers and magnum exhaust. Tires are in good shape, but the spare has some dry rot. Known problems: Windshield wipers are disconnected under the cowl, sprayers work.Transfer case mount is worn and should be replaced in the near futureBelt and tentioner should be replaced within 10,000 milesspeedo and tac work intermittently Cockpit (heater/AC) fan needs to be replaced if you want heat for the winterHas all new seals and gaskets in the engine, but the oil pan gasket needs to be replaced to stop a minor oil leak. Perfect Jeep for summer time, I drove this in SoCal for 2 years, If you don't want to drive it on rainy or cold days it is ready to go. Runs great and looks nice. Paint is far from perfect, but for being 27 years old it looks good.
