You are bidding on a 1973 VW Super Beetle Convertible, garage kept and in very good condition. The engine runs strong and feels very good. From a driver’s standpoint, you're getting an outstanding condition bug with original miles. The acceleration is very strong and manual transmission shifts perfectly. The American Racing wheels mounted with Firestone FFT70, 175 -70 R14 really set the car off. Tires are in very good condition and showing around 90% tread life. This vehicle was completely painted a few years ago but the paint is in excellent condition. An OEM convertible top was installed soon after the paint job. Top looks to be new, no tears, rips, holes, etc. Original radio is in the dash but does not work. Planned to install a CD radio but never got around to it. All lights work as they should, all the glass is original and in perfect condition. The vehicle starts, drives, handles and looks great. Brake pedal goes about ½ way down but stops very good. May need brake shoes replaced to improve pedal.
