This is a very good looking bike the way its is now, I got compliments from strangers in the parking lot all the time before.This bike also has the look of a chopper for a little bit of work to remove the seats, replace it with one like the black on in the last picture. This bike can be converted to a low rider easily if you want, I will definitely do that if I will continue keeping it ( if I can be young again). Some VT700 owners have done some fantastic job converting it to a very handsome chopped / low rider. Go to bikepicsdotcom/pictures/2433261/ or just bikepicsdotcom then search yourself. Since the engine has not been start and run for 5 years, the oil, gear oil, coolant and all fluids has to be changed. And I believe the carburetor has to be taken apart for cleaning and the seals and ring has to be replaced in it (get a cab rebuild kit). But they are not expensive. Brake pad are very thick. The seats are in great shape. There is a pint chip on the top of the tank at the center area about 1/4x3/8" in size (my wife dropped a sharp object on it) . The paint around and under the gas cap needs to be touch up. Generally the print is glossy as new paint. Please contact me if you have any other questions , or wanted to see more pictures.
