RARE 1969 MERCURY COUGAR XR7 CONVERTIBLE!! Only 4250 of these cars ever made and even less made in the bright Metallic blue with white top! Engine is a 351 Windsor with 4 barrel carburetor and automatic transmission. Car has performance handling group option, electric windows, power steering and tilt away steering wheel, sports console and tinted glass options. See copy of the original build sheet in pictures. Odometer reads 80,490 miles, but there are less than 200 miles on the rebuilt engine. Transmission has been rebuilt as well. There is new leather interior, new tires and wheels, new ford battery, new taillight sending unit, new bumpers, new top, and many more new parts. The headlights and molding were restored and all restoration was to original condition. Originally a Southern car, the body is rust free and in great condition. I also have a number of extra parts that will be included with the car. This car is about 98% complete. It needs the air-conditioning hooked up and other minor tweaking to be a competition award winning car. The passenger rear window recently become stuck in the down position and I have not had time to fix it. The motor for it is working. I am selling this car, because I do not have time for it and rather than sit in my garage I'd like to see it go to someone who would enjoy it. I am willing to transport the car 100 miles, but if the buyer wants it delivered and it is more than 100 miles please message me BEFORE bidding to discuss the additional cost. Otherwise, the buyer must pick the car up and have paid for the car in full before it will be released. A $1,500 non-refundable down payment is required within 48 hours of the end of the auction.
