Up for sale is a RARE 1958 Triumph TR3 Convertible 4 speed.. I'm told by the 40yr car owner that it is the original motor. The previous owner had the car for 40yrs and claimed the mileage on the odometer is true and correct at 38970. There is some older documents showing some of the mileage but I cant prove it other than an older guy with the title showing he has owned the car since 1974. (40 yrs). So I do believe its most likely the correct mileage. He says the car has been mostly in storage for the last few years with only a few miles a year put on it. The car starts right up with no smoking or engine rattles.. Runs and drives good. The car does need a paint job and needs restoration. But if your looking for a car that you want to drive and enjoy as just a driver car than it works for that. But if you want a car to take to a show and win trophies it will need body work, restoration and a new paint job. From 20 feet she looks good. But up close you see paint fading, spots and some rust spots that has bubbling. The car does run and shift nicely. It has a newer stainless steel exhaust that looks real nice. Tires and rims look good. Interior is useable as is but needs restored also. It has the frame for the convertible top. As you an see from the pictures the white top is dirty and stained. It has both side curtains and are in ok shape. The car is complete and can be used as an everyday driver if that's what you want or you have a good car for a full restoration. There is also 5 boxes of extra parts that are included. The vehicle is located in Waterloo, Iowa. It can be looked at if you want. Please email for additional pictures of questions..
