1987 Ford F-150 XLT Up for sale is my 1987 Ford F-150 XLT that i've owned for a little over a year now. The truck is in good condition but I have recently purchased a new truck so this truck has to go as I do not need 2 trucks. I purchased from original owner as he was not able to drive anymore. Since purchasing the truck I have made a few upgrades and regular maintenance. The truck has working A/C and blows cold. The truck has 99k miles and doesn't look like it has been abused. I recently had the sides of the truck painted as the paint was really sun baked. The undercarriage has been coated with durable chassis paint to make it look good and prevent it from rusting. The truck is pretty much unmolested, the only aftermarket items are the Sony Cassette Player and the Wheels/Tires. I didn't change the stereo because i feel it goes well with the truck. The truck has NO spare but does have the jack, handle and mounting plate for the spare just no Spare Tire/Wheel. Like any old truck it does have a couple leaks, nothing significant but it does leak some oil (Possibly old oil seals?). Also, I haven't been able to detail the bottom side of the engine and transmission so it does have grime. Please remember that the truck is a 1987, its not a show truck nor do I claim to be selling one. In my opinion the bottom still needs some more detailing as well as the engine to make it look pristine again. I am the second owner and the truck does have 99k original miles. It will possibly have more miles than in the pictures because I am driving it occasionally until the auction ends and/or deposit is received. This truck definitely gets noticed when driving around, its not very common to see older Ford Trucks in this good shape. I apologize about the bed of the truck being dusty but it is hard to keep a truck clean when you live 1 block away from the desert. Also, there are some pictures that do not show the tailgate as I drove without it for a while to see if it made a difference in Gas Mileage. The tailgate is back on truck as it shows on pictures. Also, I will have a fresh Oil Change and a Transmission Fluid Change so the new owner doesn't have to worry about it prior to the truck selling. Thanks again and happy bidding!
