For sale is my 1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. This car is very reliable, I take it to many car shows on weekends in Central Florida, otherwise it stays garaged. Gets many thumbs up on the highway ! No cracks in the dash, all gauges work, even the clock ! No cuts where rear speakers are, all factory. Doors shut as they should. Engine remains all factory and has been well maintained, starts right up and runs strong. Brakes work great. Overall this is a great example of an affordable Bandit style 70's Trans Am. Has a great look with the customized 'screaming chicken' on the hood and attracts a lot of attention. As mentioned in notes above, paint is 'driver' quality and car needs a headliner and the two interior tan quarter pieces could be replaced as they show fade. AC is all there but does not turn on. Odometer shows just over 24,000, Unfortunately I do not have any documentation to confirm. Though I believe the original carpets are in the car and with the condition of the dash and all gauges / lights working, it very well could be actual mileage.**(Fun Fact: Only 7,015 Automatic TransAms were made with the Pontiac 301 engine in 1979)** Car is sold as is - NO warranty, I will not ship, buyer must pick up here in Orlando FL.
