Vehicle Detail
Got a 1983 Mercedes Benz 300SD Turbo Diesel for sale, here is some info and details about the car.But if you have any questions please feel free to ask!The Car Runs/Drive great with no issues at all.Clean/Clear Texas blue title.129,xxx miles.Interior is in great shape with no rips or tears. All original Carpets are there. very small two little cracks on the dash by the speakers roughly one about 2" and the second about 3"Exterior is also in great shape for it's year i'd give it a 7/10.Original plaint, small little dent on both front fenders (See in pictures) and driver quarter has a small dent (See pictures) It's a Rust free car! The car is my daily and i drive it all over town and not once has it left me stranded.I bought it as it was a car iv'e always wanted as i grew up and my plans were to get it to 100% condition, but unfortunately being busy with work and school i'm not left with much time.Overall the car is in really good shape. The previous owner spent $1,600 in new parts such as suspension work, cooling system, new interstate battery,etc... The car never overheats or does anything unusual ,As well as no leaks anywhere at all. Here is a few things the car will need to be in tip top condition.I believe the A/C compressor needs to be replaced in order for the A/C to work. The radio is missing but it has new speakers and a custom made speakers in the back(See pictures)I broke the key in the ignition ,i bought a new tumbler for it(Will be included with sale),but the car can be started and driven as it is right now,i haven't had the time to replace the tumbler. When i removed the cluster to get to the tumbler i believe i didn't connect something right, causing the Rpm to work sometimes and sometimes it doesn't as well as the ODO sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't,this happened about a little less than a month agoand last thing i feel like the car tends to have a very slight jerk sometimes when shifting from 1st to 2nd but i had a Professional Mercedes Mechanic that owns 5 300SD's and he said this is a common thing on these cars and you tend to notice it as you're used to driving newer model cars that are advanced and you don't feel these little things, but he narrowed it down for me and said it's most likely due to a vacuum leak. This is all it really needs. I tried to describe the car as detailed as possible but please feel free to contact me with any questions ,thank you,and good luck bidding! The car is sold "AS IS" with no warranty.
