Amazing unique 1977 Pontiac Astre unmolested, very rare car, Pontiac's version of the Vega, very few made most of which are in Canada. ORGINAL paint however the white stripe was redone, besides a few dings it shines like new. Has a new battery, All new tires, new plugs and wires, new exhaust from the cat back, along with many new parts under the hood, passed smog no problem. Only 73,000 miles, automatic shifts very smooth, This car came out durning the gas crisis so the strong 2.5 4cyl gets 25-30mpg. Any model before 77 had an aluminum 2.3 motor notorious for burning oil This motor they used in 77 is a iron 2.5, nicknamed the "Iron Duke" and its bullet proof, So this is the best year for this car. Very cool looking gets looks everywhere, factory roof rack, original blue license plates with dealership frames, back seats fold down and has tons of room, seats are great! Door pannel plastics are a little dried out, Dash pad has one small crack.
