Vehicle Detail

1925 Studebaker EPK Big Six Five Passenger Coupe - 127 inch wheel base - Very rare body style in very good condition - Good runner and driver - 62,989 miles - Serial number 2064908 - Radiator core in excellent condition - Hydraulic assist four wheel brakes - Metal disc wheels - 6.00 / 20 Denman tires with less than 200 miles - Some minor surface rust but zero rust through - One small dent in the right rear fender, otherwise the body is dent and ding free - Rear mounted trunk and locking spare tire - Beautiful instrument cluster - Engine exhaust heater for the passenger compartment Here's the story: A previous owner (it's not known if he was the first) put the coupe in a storage building on his property near Modesto, California, around 1950. It remained there until 1990, when it was purchased from his estate after his passing. The car then went to Novato, California, where it was stored until 1994. At that time it was bought by its present owner. New tires were installed and the car was given a complete service. It has been sitting for a couple of years now but, with a squirt of fuel and a fresh battery, it's ready to drive. Small issues: The headlight lenses and rings are not original. They were updated many years ago. The exhaust tube is missing between the exhaust pipe and the passenger exhaust heater. The windows are not rolled up because the owner didn't want to damage the bezels behind the window crank handles. They are pot metal and are cracking, but would be good for patterns to make new ones. This is a true survivor and would be a very easy restoration project, or just fire it up and drive it as it is. For its age it really is in unbelievable condition. It hasn't been washed or dusted. It's barn fresh. It still has all of the little pieces that would be impossible to find if they weren't there, like the kick plates above the running boards, the floor mounted heater grate and the irons that hold up the trunk platform. I'm listing this car for my friend. If you have any questions I will get an answer. If you would like to view the car it can be arranged.
