Vehicle Detail

* * * 35+ MPG. I would often get 40 MPG on long road trips. * * * I'm selling my project car that during college, I never had the money to work on, and when I got a good job and money, I never had the time for. I would really like to keep it and finish the job, but I have to face facts that I just don't have the time for it. It is a 1990 Honda Civic CRX HF with 192k miles on the body and 100k on the motor. The HF model is the lightest version, which is what I wanted for better handling and acceleration. The engine is a 1.6 liter D16z6 from a 1995 Civic Si. The timing belt and water pump were replaced about 30k miles ago. 5 Speed Manual Transmission (from the HF so it gets better gas mileage). VTech is not currently hooked up, but could be with a simple rpm switch or an APEXI VAFC controller. DC header with a custom exhaust. (However, it does not sound like a loud fart riding down the road. I never liked that sound.) Lightened Flywheel with stage 2 clutch. I want to say it's Exedy, but I installed it 10 years ago so I can't be sure. PG7 ECU (from 89 Integra). Rear Disc brake conversion (HF's came with drums, and I wanted all disc). Cold Air intake with filter (generic). Adjustable coilovers (generic). Camber kit in the front, Washers in the back (to offset the drop from the coilovers). Has A/C functionality, but I took the belt off. Comes with steel wheels as shown, but No donut/spare.(I have 5 Rota Subzero 15" wheels for sale separately. They are super light and help with acceleration. The fifth is slightly bent, and I used it as a full size spare. They come with General Exclaim UHP 205/50/R15 tires. Two are basically new, the other two are showing signs of wear on the inside. The spare has a Pirelli P700, also showing signs of wear. $400 for entire set... again... Sold Separately. Contact me for details.) Has Sony XR-C300 stereo with 10 Disc CD Changer installed. There is also an old subwoofer box to serve as rear speakers, but there is not amp pushing them. The tape player has stopped working, but who uses tapes anymore? Comes with Haynes Repair Manual for this model to help make your mods a little easier. Driver's side door damage is from a snow storm in 2004. I was coming down a long hill on a long stretch of highway, and as the road banked (tilted to allow rain to drain of the highway) the car followed that path into a guard rail. Nothing head on, just slide the side into it. This car is extremely light, which is good for acceleration and cornering, but terrible for snow. Seats are old and need some upholstering. I could have just put on seat covers, but I'm not trying to hide anything. There are minor dings and scratches, but my plan was to get a body kit and paint it all along. I just never had to the time to do it. Deposit of $500 required within 24 hours of end of auction. Remaining balance will be paid cash only when vehicle is picked up. Buyer is responsible for shipping and pick up. Car is used and being sold as is with no warranty. Seller has the right to end this listing at anytime. Please do not hesitate to email me so I can answer any questions you may have regarding this car.
