I bought this 1969 Honda Z50A K1 Mini Trail from a neighbor years ago when he was in the process of moving. He said the bike ran fine when he parked it but I never had the time to clean the carb and get it running. The engine kicks over smoothly with no strange noises and has good spark, compression, and the gears seem to engage as they should so I have no reason to believe it would not drive once you did the basics of getting it running. The tank is clean inside and the Honda does not leak oil on the garage floor. I don't see myself as ever having the time to restore the Mini Trail so I have decided to put it up for sale. I am not an expert on these bikes so I tried to take good photos so you can see what you are buying. Obviously there are some parts missing and the seat cover and rear tire have been replaced. The left handlebar was repaired at some point in time as you can see in the photos. The serial number of the Mini Trail is Z50A-195450 and the engine number is Z50AE 192189. The bike appears to still wear its original Candy Blue and Silver paint and would be a great candidate to either restore or just replace the missing parts and leave as a survivor. The Mini Trail is located in Payson, Arizona 85541 which is about 75 miles northeast of metro Phoenix. I will be glad to help in any way that I can in getting the bike shipped to you. My neighbor did NOT have a title for the Z50 and since I just had it sitting in the garage, I never bothered to title it either. Since it has been so many years without being titled, there would be no record of it with DMV and getting a bonded title is a relatively easy and inexpensive process if you so desired. I can provide you with a notarized Arizona bill of sale if you wish.
